Barcelona managed to squeeze their win away from home, which gives an extra boost ahead of the home match at the Estadi Olímpic. In the other two meetings, the first matches ended in a draw, which makes the upcoming matches somewhat more open.

What happens in the event of a draw?
If the two teams would have scored the same number of goals at the final whistle in the second match, an extra time of 2 x 15 minutes will be played. The goals scored here are added to those previously collected where the team with the most goals on the board wins the battle. Should these extra 30 minutes not be enough, the meeting will go to penalties.

When are the Champions League semi-finals played?
Since a month ago, it is already clear which two quarter-final winners will be paired against each other in the upcoming semi-finals, which will take place on April 30 and May 1 respectively, with returns on May 7 and 8. The winner between Madrid and Dortmund will face either PSG or Barcelona, while Arsenal or Bayern will face Real Madrid or Manchester City. This means that we can see both a Spanish and an English meeting in the CL semi-finals.
