This is how the final and the bronze match of the Women's Hockey World Cup 2024 will be played

The Women's Hockey World Cup in Utica (USA) is about to end. On Sunday, April 14, the medal matches in the Women's World Cup will be decided, where the world's best hockey country on the women's side will be crowned during the 2023/24 season.

Yesterday (April 13) the semifinals were played in Utica where the USA and Canada were favorites in each semi. And of course the favorites would be able to withstand the pressure, this with certainty. The USA ran over Finland 5-0 and during the night of Sunday, Canada made history short with the Czech Republic and won 4-0.

Now the USA and Canada meet in the final of the Women's Hockey World Cup again, for the 22nd time in history. The countries have thus met each other in 21 World Cup finals in history, in 22 championships. Canada has won twelve finals against the USA and the Americans have won nine World Cup finals against Canada and also one final against Finland (2019). Tomorrow, a new thriller awaits between the two biggest and most powerful countries in women's ice hockey.

In the bronze match, Finland plays the Czech Republic, starting at 19:00 Swedish time. Both matches are broadcast on Sveriges Television.

When is the final of the Women's Hockey World Cup being played?

The bronze medal match between Finland and the Czech Republic will kick off at 19:00 and will be broadcast on SVT Play. The final between Canada and the USA starts at 23:00 and is broadcast on SVT2 and on SVT Play. The medal matches in the championship will be played on Sunday, April 14.
