U18 WC 2024: This is how Sweden's match against Kazakhstan will be broadcast

Sweden's U18 boys were left without pins on the board against Canada, but already on Saturday will get another chance to pick up points. This against the tournament's new addition, Kazakhstan.

With a sour 3-6 loss behind them, the desire for a win is even greater for the Småkrona, who have now warmed up in their clothes.

H2H Sweden – Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan is a nation that many see as a yo-yo in the hockey context. Sometimes they play in the top division and sometimes they don't. This applies not only at the senior level but also for the juniors.

This is the measly second time we get to see Kazakhstan in the top division of the U18 World Cup. The last time this happened was in 2003, when the team finished last in their group after four heavy losses against the big nations Russia, Canada, the Czech Republic and Switzerland. The placement led to play in the relegation round where two more losses followed. As Sweden has continuously played in the top division and did not face the team during the aforementioned tournament, the upcoming fight will be the very first World Cup meeting between the teams.

At the time of writing, Kazakhstan has not yet entered the tournament, but they will only play their WC premiere later on Friday, then against Switzerland.
